Case Studies 


Engagement 1:  A Sydney liquidator approached us with a challenge: a large volume of redundant stock that couldn’t be disposed of through standard rubbish tip channels and was not able to be sold because it was contaminated. Profirm Partners sourced an agricultural group that could repurpose the stock and were willing to take it free of charge. The only requirement was freight—168 pallets, each weighing 200kg, needing to be delivered to their rural property. Profirm Partners engaged our freight partner, coordinated the logistics, and managed the entire process from end to end.

From identifying the problem to completing the delivery, the matter was resolved within just a few days, saving the liquidator both time and over $200k worth of disposal costs. 


Engagement 2:  A property receivership where the building was 90% complete but the developer had ran out of money required the Receiver to secure the property until the builder could finish final works and the building could be sold. We quickly provided temporary fencing, security guards and security cameras to deter any intruders from entering and damaging the site. This reduced insurance risk for the Receiver and allowed him to have eyes on the site without having to visit every day. A number of trades were unpaid so threatened to attend site to reclaim their work by causing damage, yet we created enough of a deterrent that nobody ever attended site and the building sold successfully without issue. 


Engagement 3: A dispute between two families over a rural property required a liquidator to be appointed to dissolve the assets. The farm was 6 hours drive away from the liquidator's office and contained livestock as well as a number of high value assets. Our Live Monitored Camera solution allowed us to have eyes on the assets at all times. On numerous occasions, thieves attempted to steal the assets but within minutes local police were on site and had caught the thieves before anything could occur. 


Engagement 4: A unit block in the central coast attracted a number of intruders from the local area as it had been abandoned for a significant amount of time before the appointment of a Receiver. We implemented our security guards and camera solution but due to the size of the site, attempted intrusions and damage were common, including a number of traps that were set to harm the liquidators team (nails in gutter of curb, metal spikes behind doors etc.). We sent our team in multiple times to do a site review, check for new damage, ensure nobody was living inside any of the apartments, fix areas of fencing that were damaged, remove weeds and generally ensure the property was in good standard.
